Hand Care Tips

One of the places that shows the aging most in your hands but most of us try to hardest to stop the clock in our face. On a regular basis you make sure to moisturize, exfoliate and apply sunscreen to your face and neck. But the same to your hands do you remember to do? The answer is no, if you are like most people. You can knock back few years to make today the day that you include your hands in your skin care routine. You’ll notice younger looking hands with regular care.

Protect Your Hands from the Elements
Protect your hands from cold weather or hot dish water. Your hands skin is very thin and not protecting them will cause aging. Put on some rubber or latex gloves to keep the hot water and chemicals off your skin when you’re scrubbing the pots and pans in hot water or cleaning with bleach. Wear your gloves in the cold winter weather.

Exfoliating
After you exfoliate, think about how great your face or body feels. Exfoliating removes the dead level of skin leaving only soft new skin. The lotion has to work its way through it, if you don’t remove that layer of skin. You’ll instantly notice smoother hands, if you exfoliate your hands at least once a week.

Keep Lotion by Your Sink
You can start out the day with moisturizer on your hands. But the moisturizer goes down the drain with the soap after you wash. You’ll get into the habit of using lotion after you clean and dry your hands by keeping a lotion at your sink. Just after one day, you’ll absolutely notice an instant difference.

Moisturize Your Hands
By trimming your cuticles is a bit of a controversy, keeping them hydrated will remain that dry, scaly, jagged look at bay. Before going bed this is easy to do a twice a week. Swipe a bit on the cuticle and rub in by using a cuticle and nail oil. Not only will your nails get some extra attention but also you will keep your cuticles soft.

Use Sunscreen to Your Hands
When you’re in outside your hands are exposed to the sun for every time, especially when you’re driving your car or walking. Sun is the biggest cause of premature aging where we all know from our facial care. Actually it might take some time to remember. But on a regular basis if you apply sunscreen, you’ll be happy you did. Keep a small bottle by your keys so you could remember.
