Oily Skin Skin Care Tips

Oily skin is one of the most difficult to care for men and women. There are simple and easy ways to avoid oily skin. Using the right health products and making small lifestyle changes can drastically improve your skin health. These tips will help you out from your oily skin with simple and quick action towards your face if you follow.

Drink Plenty of Water
Hydration is essential to keep your skin healthy. Drink 8 glasses of water or about 2 liters of water, daily. Stay away from carbonated beverages or alcohol they will make the problem worse.

Use Lukewarm Water
People who have oily skin should wash the face for maximum 3 times daily. Try to use warm water because it relaxes your face and treats it gently. Cold or hot water dries out the skin.

Use Ice Cubes
It helps to reduce the oil secretion on face. Take a towel rap the ice with cloth then apply to the face. Don’t apply ice directly to the face.

Use Aloe Vera Gel
On regular basis it will help to control oil skin. Mix one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice with one-half teaspoon of distilled water. Apply it on your skin using a cotton ball. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash your face with warm water.

Tone Daily
Working an alcohol-free toner into your daily cleansing routine can help get rid of excess oils and keep your skin smooth and clean. Try to find a toner that contains rosewater for the best results.

Use Moisturizer
You may think that moisturizing is counterproductive on oily skin, but you’re wrong. Without moisture your skin will actually produce more oil to compensate for the lack thereof. When purchasing a moisturizer try to stick with something oil-free and water-based.

Wear Sunscreen
Like moisturizer, the pros of sunscreen outweigh the perceived and often untrue cons. While many applying SPF will only intensify oily skin, skipping a sunscreen application makes your skin susceptible to a variety of skin discoloration and damage issues.

Use Scrub
You should use a good scrub that can help in exfoliating the skin. Scrubbing should be done one or two times in seven days. When the skin is oily, there is extra production of sebum. Pimples and blackheads are formed due to deposition of dead skin cells. It spoils the beauty of skin and makes it dull and lifeless. Exfoliating the skin will help in removing dirt and unwanted cells. It refreshes the skin. You should scrub the skin very gently.

Use Face-mask
Use a face-mask as it will make your skin very beautiful and healthy. When you apply the mask, extra oil is removed from the skin. It also helps in eliminating dirt and harmful bacteria. Use the face-mask one time in a week. Using the face-mask is a good way to protect the oily skin. Mud masks are good for oily skin and some people like to use clay mask.
