1. Use Moisturize With Oil

2. Wear Sunscreen
Just like in summer time, it’s essential to wear sunscreen
in winter as well. Wind sucks up moisture from your skin and the sun is too
harsh at higher altitudes. We habitually forget to put on sunscreen which
results in flaky and dull skin at the end of the day. Choose a sunscreen with
at least SPF 20. Higher SPF means extra protection from harmful sun rays. Also,
look for sunscreens which contain cocoa or Shea butter, aloe and moisturizing
oils for your winter skin.
3. Protect Your Hands
While the skin on your hands has few oil glands and is
relatively thinner compared to most parts of the body, it’s difficult to keep
them moist, particularly when it’s cold. Make sure you wear gloves when you’re
outside. If you need wool for warmth, wear a thin cotton glove underneath to
avoid irritation.
4. Use Luke-warm Water But Not Hot
We all desire hot water for shower and baths but it’s not
good for skin. Hot water draws moisture from skin and cause itchiness. Be kind
to your skin and say no to hot water, as a replacement for use Luke-warm water.
Keep away from using insensitive soaps and cleansers as they can really
irritate your skin. Apply soaps containing natural ingredients and oils. You
can also apply shower gel or cream which doesn’t dry off your body. Limit
exfoliation to once a week. Exfoliation is significant to get rid of all the
dead skin that accumulates on your body. Don’t forget to moisturize your body
after shower.

Your heels are the driest part of your body. Having dry feet
